Well, it’s that time of year again! A dusting of snow has fallen here in Stanley stirring up memories of our little winter wonderland from last season. It is also time to start checking the road reports and being cautious driving in our beautiful mountain areas. Both Highway 21 and Highway 75 have light snow; Highway 21 especially has wildlife on the roadway to look out for and has recently been replacing some guardrail along some sections near Grandjean that could cause very minor delays, but all routes leading to Stanley are open! Remember to utilize Idaho Transportation Department’s website and “511 Idaho” feature to check highway and driving conditions all over the state. You can get there by going to http://511.idaho.gov. Also check out their link to the Sawtooth Camera that can now be found under “Traveler Services.” Get up-to-date photos of the Stanley area and Sawtooth Mountains! Come check us out!
