Travel to Stanley, Idaho

The town of Stanley lies at the crossroads of three “scenic byways” at the very heart of Idaho’s Rocky Mountains. Its unique location offers visitors an off the beaten path experience in one of the most majestic, untouched Wilderness Areas in the United States.

Stanley is located at the intersection of Highway 21 (Boise – Stanley) Highway 75 (Twin Falls – Sun Valley – Challis). Both routes reward travelers with amazing scenery as they travel through the same wilderness Lewis and Clark once explored.

The approach to Stanley winds along wooded river corridors, up impressive mountain passes and down into wide-open meadows with the majestic Sawtooth Mountains as a backdrop. Stanley is located 1 hour from both Ketchum and Challis, Idaho. Cell service is limited along both routes.
