Snowmobile Report for December 1, 2010

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

The snow is falling this morning here in Stanley and the weather report is calling for more all week long!  We are currently working on getting trails set and clearing a few more fallen trees out of our path.   Reports are that Bear Valley has around 4 feet of powder!  We are hoping to have a trail set at least out to Stanley Lake by mid-December.   Keep in mind that the Idaho Department of Parks of Recreation expects grooming to occur only when 18 inches of snow is present at the lowest elevation at which we groom.  This goes for all trails on IDPR managed National Forest land.  We know everyone is ready to get out there and play so keep checking back here for updates on the grooming status and conditions.  See you soon!
