McCoy's Fishing Report for June 19, 2016

event

Skies are blue and temps are in the 70’s today with warmer weather predicted for the week.

Chinook salmon season is open and they are just beginning to arrive here in the Stanley area.

Stanley Lake, Alturas Lake, the Dredge Ponds, the Kid’s Pond at the Sawtooth Hatchery, Valley Creek and the Upper Salmon River have all been stocked with catchable size Rainbow Trout.

Lake Trout are being caught in Stanley Lake. As the water warms up they are going deeper.

We are getting into dry fly season as the big bugs are starting to hatch on the river.
