McCoy's Fishing Report for April 12, 2016

As of Tuesday, April 12,2016 the Sawtooth Hatchery has 2607 Steelhead in. The fish are really moving up fast with our warm temps. Almost all are fishing upstream of Stanley as Valley Creek and Basin Creek are at the time being putting silt in the River. Colder temperatures are expected for the next few days so we are looking for the creeks to stabilize and the River below Stanley to improve. Many are reporting that the fish are still pretty fresh looking so it doesn’t look like we are at the end of the run yet. Season will close April 30th. Courtesy of McCoy's Tackle Shop .
